FBC Youth News

A BIG Thank You!!
The FBC Youth and friends had
an amazing time at the camp out!
I guess we really should call
it a camp “in” since we slept inside.
But, no matter where we
slept, we had so much fun canoeing, fishing, making smores, eating hot dogs,
dancing & playing games!
We want to thank Dr. &
Mrs. Carter for welcoming us to their home and property!

Looking for
Something to Do?
The regular
youth meetings are now in full swing.
Each week,
students from 6th through 12th grade are invited to come
out to the church to join in the fun and learning.
Sr. High
students meet Sunday nights from 7-8:15.
We've been
trying out all sorts of games in the newly renovated gymnasium
and have
been taking a look at the book
“Do Hard
Things” by twin brothers Alex & Brett Harris
Jr. High
students meet Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45
This meeting
includes game time and a Bible/book study
based on the
book
“You Were
Made to Make a Difference” by Max Lucado
If you want
more info about the meetings, need directions,
or need
transportation to the church,
please
contact Jody Csaki.

Your Creative
Ideas
FBC Youth
exists to:
*provide a fun,
safe and loving atmosphere for students
6th
through 12th grades
*share the good
news and love of Jesus with students
*teach Bible
lessons that apply to the lives of young people today
*provide
opportunities for students to get to know God
and to worship
Him
*help students
become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ
The above
statements tell a lot about FBC Youth Group
and why we
exist.
But, it
doesn't quite fit on a t-shirt.
We want to
come up with a new name and logo for our group
that
emphasizes who we are and what we're about.
And we need your
help!!
Why not put
your creative talents to work and submit your name and logo ideas?
You can email
them to Jody Csaki at djandjodycsaki@yahoo.com or
just hand them
to her on Sunday mornings.
We can't wait
to see your ideas!!
